SCOPE OF WORK: Ascendent LLC was called to the scene of a major fire downtown Kent, Wa before the fire department left the site. The building officials were concerned about the buildings collapsing into the street putting people and property at risk. Ascendent mobilized people and equipment within the hour in addition to having an environmental team on site to survey for any potential hazards from asbestos. The city was able to open the street one day later and the rest of the demolition and clean up was completed in four more days. Ascendent is very experienced with insurance work and documented every aspect of cost relating to the project for a smooth billing to the insurance company.
